I have a pretty extensive to-do list for the weekend. It’s sort of stressing me out, but instead of crossing things off the list, I found myself putting together a collection of Make it Naked’s greenest recipes. Typical. St. Patrick’s Day is about a week away so obviously this post is necessary, and more pressing than fixing our leaky kitchen sink. Green things do occur naturally, so let’s enjoy a few! Green eggs and ham<—fun for kids
Ochazuke – green tea soup <—one of my most favorite recipes ever
Crispy spinach (hint: it’s fried!)
Arugula watermelon and feta salad with citrus vinaigrette
Cucumber salsa <—this recipe needs more love than it gets. so good.
Asparagus with walnut cream. Walnut what? Just do it.
Grilled salmon salad with feta dill dressing
Cilantro lime hummus
Green juice. Don’t be scared. Try it!
Irish beer and cheese bread – This is neither green nor gluten free, but it’s so amazing that it deserves to be mentioned for the holiday. If you can eat gluten, eat this kind.
