Remember when I told you I’d post more of what I eat on a regular basis? This is that. Remember when I told you it’s really nothing extravagant. This is also that. I mean we’re teetering on the edge of boring here but let me assure you, boring is delicious. I get it. It’s not a hand-woven bacon bowl, or a perfectly grilled filet, or chocolate covered cake bites. But it is a healthy snack, a great start to the day, a perfect mid-day pick-me-up. It’s a caffeinated smoothie. Can I get a high-five or something? Peaches. Pineapple. Green Tea. That’s all. Add some honey if you want. I don’t. Jon does. It’s up to you. You could probably add vodka too. Because when is that ever a bad idea? I really wasn’t going to post this but after enjoying a few of these for myself, I really thought you should know about them. This is the part where I tell you to throw fruit in a blender and turn it on. Please don’t
be insulted, but that’s all it takes. Think frozen, frothy, peach tea. Think summer in a glass. Enjoy! Peach Tea Smoothie (makes 2) Ingredients: 1 cup frozen peach slices 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks 1 cup chilled green tea 2 teaspoons honey (optional) Directions: Place all ingredients in blender and blend. Enjoy immediately. It doesn’t keep well. Notes:
